ABout US

CARDINA was founded by Carlos E Arguijo, P.E.  Carlos obtained his BS of Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Texas at El Paso.  Carlos, a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas and New Mexico, is also a member of the American Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), a founding board member of the USGBC-Chihuahuan Desert Chapter, and a LEED Accredited Professional.  His experience includes work for commercial, industrial, commercial, institutional and federal projects with clients including multinational corporations, school districts and universities. In 2019, Carlos received the prestigious Lincoln Bouillon Award from ASHRAE.   

The staff at CARDINA has designed and commissioned projects in the United States and Mexico, including Lintel Corporate Offices in Juarez, Mexico, The University of Texas – NASA Space Geodesy SLR facility, and the City of El Paso Public Health Laboratory COVID-19 Testing and Response Facility.
